Oakmere.ai — Privacy Notice

Last updated: 7 October 2026.

Francis Donohue, trading as Oakmere, of Kilnhurst, Sandy Road, Rush, County Dublin, K56 TX95 (“Oakmere”, “we”, “us”), is the controller of personal data processed through oakmere.ai and assess.oakmere.ai, except where another provider acts as an independent controller for its own service. Contact: francis@oakmere.ai.

What the service is for

Oakmere provides business decision support. You can describe an operational problem, complete a structured assessment and, if you choose, purchase an Opportunity Brief or Business Case Qualification. Please use aggregated business information and role names rather than personal or sensitive data.

Information we process

Why we process it

Cookies and device storage

Essential storage is used to keep the assessment working and remember your privacy choices. Oakmere analytics storage is not created until you allow analytics. The LinkedIn Insight Tag is not loaded until you allow LinkedIn measurement. Declining either choice does not prevent you from completing or purchasing an assessment.

AI-assisted processing

Oakmere uses an OpenAI API model to help interpret descriptions, classify opportunities, choose relevant follow-up questions and draft narrative. Financial calculations, thresholds and payment controls are handled by Oakmere code. Do not enter passwords, payment-card details, patient data, confidential source documents or personally identifiable employee/customer information.

Payments

Stripe processes card payments. Oakmere does not receive or store your full card details. Stripe may process payment information as an independent controller under its own privacy terms.

Retention

Providers and international transfers

Oakmere uses service providers including Netlify for hosting/server execution, OpenAI for AI-assisted reasoning, Stripe for payment processing, Resend for transactional report-delivery email and LinkedIn where you consent to marketing measurement. These providers may process data outside Ireland/EEA. Where required, transfers are handled using the provider's applicable contractual and legal safeguards.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection, and you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out. You may also complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission. To exercise a right or ask a privacy question, email francis@oakmere.ai.

Your choices matter: the assessment works if you decline analytics and LinkedIn tracking. The service-improvement option can also be switched off.
